Eight people try to end their loneliness by searching for that one
person to love, who can make their life complete. Doze Niu helms
this effort and also plays one of the roles as a rich entertainment
industry tycoon Lu whose relationshipwith Zoe Fang (Shu Qi) is heading
for the rocks. Zoe lives a lifeleaching off rich men, but deep down
desires that degree ofindependence if only she can find the courage to
break out of hercomfort zone. From these two characters the branches
extend to Lu'sdaughter Ni (Amber Kuo) who finds out that her filmmaker
wannabeboyfriend Kai (Eddie Pang) had impregnated her best friend Yijia
(IvyChen), the latter whose brother Kuan (Ethan Juan) turns out to
besharing an innocent relationship with Zoe at the rooftop of his
homewhere she can hang out and just be herself. Zoe's ex Mark (Mark
Chao)who is also Lu's friend (yeah, the character of Zoe flits from one
richman to another) travels to find his roots in Beijing and sets off
onthe wrong foot with real estate agent Xiao Ye (Vicky Zhao), a
singlemom who links through an implied dotted line back to one of
thementioned characters.
